Answers to our most Frequently Asked Questions

What is digital marketing?

Digital Marketing refers to methods to reach people  online compared to off line traditional marketing channels.  The specific methods that work best for a company or organization are specific to its products or services.  Examples of digital marketing include SEO or search engine optimization, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, PPC, CPA, Social Media campaigns and more.

What type of companies do you work with?

We do not have a specific industry that we target.  There are businesses and products that are a better fit for SEO, some are a better fit for social media, and some are not a good candidate for digital marketing in general.  The reasons are as varried as the types of companies that exist.  We only accept a new client if we mutually agree that the numbers make sense from a ROI standpoint.

What KPIs do you monitor? How will you be monitoring our success?

That depends on the marketing channels and plans we will use for your campaign.  For SEO we will look primarily at Ranking (serps), searches and clickthroughs, and engagement on your site (goals including conversion).  For ads of any type we typically look at reach and clickthrough and conversion percentage.

I tried Google AdWords but it was a waste of money, could you do better?

No idea until we talk.  There are so many variables that we can not give a credible answer until we know what was done and the research used to determine the targeted keywords and budget.

Do I need SEO?

Maybe.  Until we can have a fact-finding conversation, it is impossible to determine if SEO is a good fit for your organization’s goals.  It is sort of like asking a doctor if you need to take blood thinners.  Without the right information, there is no way to answer the question.

How long will building a website take?

That depends on the type of website we are building for you and the project scope.  For a general business website of 12 pages or less, we usually estimate 30 to 45 days. Once we have all your content and images and the initial design is approved, we can generally turn around a customized site in 3 weeks.

Much of the time is usually due to needing content or approvals from our clients.  For an eCommerce website with 10K products, it may btake120 to 180 days depending on many factors.
